Player of the match – Andy Considine

Andy Considine was a rock at the back for St Johnstone and was unfortunate to be on the wrong side of the result as holders Rangers won 1-0 at McDiarmid Park to move into the Scottish Cup last 16.

Considering their own problems at the back, Aberdeen must be rueing their decision to allow the lkong-serving veteran centre-back to leave in the summer.
