
SYRACUSE — Fremont High boys basketball claimed a 51-48 win in double overtime Friday night at Syracuse, taking that lead with 19 seconds left before Syracuse missed a potential game-tying 3-pointer in the final seconds.
David Calvert led all scorers with 15 points and three 3-pointers for Fremont (10-5, 5-0 Region 1). Boston Hadley added 11 points with two treys. Braden Flinders scored 10 points and Treyden Hoggan hit three 3-pointers for nine points.
Brevin Hamblin led Syracuse (9-5, 2-3) with 13 points. Kaden Ericksen scored 12 points and Carter Semrow added 10.
FARMINGTON 77, WEBER 69
PLEASANT VIEW — Paul Beattie scored 21 points to lead Farmington to a region road win at Weber.
Ethan Atkinson added 19 points for Farmington (10-5, 2-3 Region 1) and Jayden Haskell scored 18. Atkinson and Haskell each made three 3-pointers. Cole Johnson tallied 12 points.
Hunter Schenck led Weber (5-10, 2-4) with 20 points. Tyler Payne tallied 11 points. Malachi Spencer and Griffyn Doughty each added 10 points.
BONNEVILLE 59, VIEWMONT 55
BOUNTIFUL — Bonneville took a 17-8 lead after one quarter and Viewmont couldn’t overcome the slow start.
Bo Dixon led Bonneville (6-8, 2-1 Region 5) with 17 points while shooting 4 of 9 from the 3-point line. Nate Burdett added 12 points while Ben Tesch and Nick Sebahar each scored eight, with Tesch pulling down 10 rebounds. The Lakers shot 18 free throws in the fourth quarter, converting 10.
Scott Noel scored a game-high 22 points for Viewmont (6-10, 1-2), adding six rebounds. Dez Jensen scored 11 points and Jaxon Heusser added eight points. Heusser, Noel and Jensen each hit two 3-pointers.
DAVIS 58, CLEARFIELD 50
CLEARFIELD — Coleman Atwater scored 15 points to lead Davis to a region win at Clearfield.
Zach Fisher and Colby Whicker each scored 11 points and pulled down eight rebounds for Davis (10-6, 4-1 Region 1).
Lincoln Church led Clearfield (6-8, 0-5) with 13 points and Trace Hansen scored 11. Austin Mitchell added nine points and nine rebounds.
BOX ELDER 65, BOUNTIFUL 49
BOUNTIFUL — Bountiful led 13-11 after one quarter, then Box Elder took control with a 16-7 second quarter in a region road win.
Cooper Stevenson led Box Elder (9-5, 2-1 Region 5) with 14 points and two 3-pointers. Jackson McKee and Maxwell Isaacson each scored 12 points while Cole Mortensen added 11.
Carson Smith led all scorers with 18 points for Bountiful (5-9, 1-2). Faletau Satuala tallied 10 points.

CLEARFIELD — Clearfield led 8-6 after one quarter, then Davis took control with a 23-16 advantage in the second stanza.
Kendra Kitchen led all scorers with 18 points and two 3-pointers for Davis (12-1, 5-0 Region 1). Aryanna Bull added 16 points.
Xiyah Yarbrough paced Clearfield (8-6, 2-3) with 12 points and Brighton Bernards added eight points and two 3-pointers.

PLEASANT VIEW — Farmington outscored Weber 17-1 in the first quarter in a region road win.
Marissa Marchant led all scorers with 18 points for Farmington (8-6, 2-3 Region 1). Courtney Christiansen scored eight points and Kate Geddes added six.
Jersey Coggins scored 10 points for Weber (4-11, 1-5) and Katelynn Butler added nine.
